Our privacy policy

At Hoopo®, we only process data necessary for (improving) our services, and we handle the information we collect with care. We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the Hoopo® website and related services. The effective date is October 1, 2020. The publication of a new version supersedes all previous versions.

Data processing

Web store software

Our online store is powered by Shopify. Personal data you share with us is shared with them for technical support. Lightspeed does not use your data for any other purposes and is obligated to implement appropriate security measures (including SSL encryption).

Email and mailing lists

Confirmation emails and newsletters are sent via Mailchimp and Zendesk. Your data is stored securely and not used for any other purposes. You'll find an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.

Payment processors

We use a payment provider for payments. This provider securely processes your name, address, and payment information and does not store it longer than legally permitted.

Shipping and logistics

To carry out deliveries, we share your name, address, and city with our distribution center. This information is used exclusively for the execution of the agreement.

External sales channels

When you abandon a shopping cart, you may receive an email reminder. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link .

Purpose of data processing

We use your data solely for the purposes of providing our services and not for targeted marketing without your explicit consent. Data is only shared with third parties to comply with administrative or legal obligations.

Automatically collected data

When you use our website, we automatically collect data (such as your IP address, browser, and operating system) to improve our services. This is not personal data.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are a customer. After termination, we only retain what is legally required (e.g., billing information). Other data will be deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:
